Common Questions

How do I join the game?expand_more

An admin invites you by email or text. You will receive a welcome message with a magic link that logs you in and walks you through setting up your profile.

Do I have to play every Friday?expand_more

No. Just mark yourself In or Out on the Schedule page so the admin can set groups by Thursday.

How does the format work?expand_more

The pot is split 50/50 between gross skins and low net. Groups are typically fivesomes. Your group captain handles the details before tee-off.

What is the handicap cap?expand_more

Course handicap is capped at 9 strokes. This is your course HC, not calculated off the low in the group. Plus handicaps give strokes back.

Can I bump my ball?expand_more

No. Play it as it lies everywhere on the course. The only exception is an egregious unraked bunker footprint where good judgment applies. 2-foot putts are gimmes, but hole out everything else.

What is a magic link?expand_more

A magic link logs you into the dashboard instantly without a password. They are included in every email and text blast. If the link came from a Group Chat notification, it scrolls directly to the post. Magic links expire after 14 days.

What is a GGID?expand_more

GGID is your Golf Genius Group ID. It is assigned to each group when pairings are set and is shown on the Groups page next to your tee time.

How are results entered?expand_more

Admins can upload a screenshot or PDF of the leaderboard and AI automatically extracts skins winners, low net scores, and standings. Results can also be entered manually or pasted as text.

I forgot my password. What do I do?expand_more

On the login screen, tap Forgot Password and enter your email. You will receive a reset link. If you do not have an email on file, ask an admin to reset it for you.

How do I stay logged in?expand_more

Your session is saved in your browser for 30 days. You will not need to log in again unless you clear your browser data or tap Logout.
